Performance issues and/or bus jumping in OMSI 1 & 2

Ensure that the 4GB patch is installed:

1. Download the 4GB patch here.
2. Unpack the .zip file with Winzip/WinRar
3. Open 4gb_patch.exe
4. Locate the OMSI.exe in the OMSI installation directory (usually C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/OMSI 2)
5. Select the OMSI.exe and confirm with Open

Select the lowest possible settings

Setting the lowest possible settings for the map may help performance. This can be done in OMSI Options -> Load Options.

Install OMSi on a SSD

If possible, move OMSI to an SSD. SSDs generally improve loading times and loading performance.
